Does Harry want to exchange Nico for our full back?

|

According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham are preparing a part-exchange deal for Liverpool’s Glen Johnson with out of favour winger Nico Kranjcar going in the other direction. Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is apparently prepared to use the Croatian as part of any offer to bring the England full back to White Hart Lane. Johnson stated after the West Ham game though that he had patched up his differences with manager Roy Hodgson:

“Believe me, no-one wants me to find my best form more than me, and I was aware of what I had to do. It was a little reminder from the boss, he told me that was what he meant by it. We spoke, and he explained he wanted it to help me, to push me and I said to him then, I don’t need people to tell me, I know where I’m at in terms of form, and I knew it all already. The gaffer told me he has faith in my ability, we spoke and we cleared things up. Sometimes comments like that can be made to look more negative than they are meant.”

Johnson scored the first goal against West Ham in a 3-0 victory on Saturday.

Another made up story from the Daily Mail, do you really think Kranjcar is good enough for us? He’s not even capable of making the Spurs’ bench so why would we need this guy…and to suggest that Johnson is going in the opposite direction is just ludicrous…please Daily Mail I’m sick and tired of your stories.
