FC Basel midfielder Valentin Stocker’s agent Marco Balmelli has told TMW that Liverpool are interested in the Swiss winger:
“Liverpool? Yes, with the English club I have had contact. How much? Five to six million euro. Valentin is good technically, can play multiple roles, both on the wing and the centre.”
Stocker is only 21 but has already made seven appearances for Switzerland, scoring 3 goals.

This guy’s pure quality, I really hope Hodgson step up his efforts to sign him. He’s only 21 and no doubt he’ll be a top class player in a couple of years. What’s more, he can play in attacking midfield and out wide which is exactly what we need.
