Rumour Mill: Reds stepping up chase for PSG Star?

|

Liverpool will step up their chase for Paris St-Germain defender Mamadou Sakho according to TMW. It reports that AC Milan, Juventus and Arsenal are also in the running for the 20 year old’s signature but Liverpool are prepared to make a move for the young French star in the January transfer window. Roy Hodgson is said to be looking at options to shore up his defensive positions after a shaky start to the season at the back, and while the priority target in January is said to be a striker to support Fernando Torres, the Reds new owners NESV could also back a move for Sakho as he fits the criteria of being both young and talented.

I see you are making it up again! NESV have NOT said they will back an offer for Sakho. Still don’t let the truth put you off as whenever has the truth made good journalism?

Sakho looks a strong and fast defender who’s also good in the air but I really don’t think we need another centre back when we’ve got Soto, Carra, Skrtel and Agger. Of course this guy seems pretty decent but I rather Roy spends the money in other areas of the pitch cause we’re in desperate need of a winger and a striker.

what does Danny Wilson have to do to get into the irst team? He should be in ahead of Skyrtel who is useless and should be sold in January. Carragher is the reason why the team has been defending so deep, because of his lack of pace and his inability to implement a offside trap. Agger is too creative a player to be wasted as a centreback. If the team started to push up in games from now on he should be used as a playmaker in centremidfield as he is a great passer, he can dribble and he can shoot
