Liverpool after £4.5m Swiss winger?

|

Liverpool are set to make a bid for Basel winger Valentin Stocker in the January transfer window, according to The People. The paper believes that the Swiss player’s performances in the Champions League for Basel have impressed Liverpool’s Director of Football Strategy Damien Comolli enough for the Reds to make a bid. Comolli wants to get a deal done quickly in January as he is worried that there will be a bidding war for the player if they delay in signing the player. According to the paper, Stocker is valued by Basel at £4.5million but this could quickly rise if other clubs come in for the player.

This week it is former Liverpool player Danny Murphy’s wife Joanna Taylor!

According to some sources, Liverpool are already negotiating with Basel. I hope this deal goes through cause this player’s got great potential and has impressed greatly in the Champions League. He’s only 21 and costs around 5 mil I think he would be a fantastic signing. I really hope we can get him.
