Rumoured Liverpool and Chelsea target, Roma striker Mirko Vucinic’s future at the Rome club has been put in further doubt as reports suggest that he is not ruling out a move away from the Italian giant. When asked whether his client would be staying at Roma, rather than rule out a move, Vucinic’s agent Eugene Ascari has stated it will be up to Roma’s management whether the player leaves. Itasportpress.it reported a few days ago, that Roy Hodgson was a keen admirer of the 27 year old and with the player being sidelined to the bench on a number of occasions by manager Claudio Ranieri this season, speculation has been rife over a move away from Roma. Vucinic stated back in October that he wouldn’t mind a move to England:
“I am very happy there is a lot of interest from the Premier League, and I hope to do my best and have a great game. The Premier League is one of the best leagues in the world. I just have to keep playing my football in the best possible manner.”
Vucinic has played nine times this season, scoring 3 goals.
