Record is reporting that Benfica are preparing to sell striker Oscar Cardozo when the January transfer window opens next month. The Paraguayan international is rumoured to be interesting both Liverpool and Manchester City, and the Portuguese newspaper states that Benfica are already lining up a replacement for Cardozo in the form of FC Lorient striker Kevin Gameiro. The 27 year old has scored six goals in nine matches this season, including two at the weekend against Beira Mar. It remains to be seen whether Liverpool will be able to match Benfica’s asking price for the player, if indeed Cardozo is their first choice striker signing.

OIC…They want some idiot buyer to ignore buying Gameiro and buy Cardoza so they will have some of the needed money?
Can’t you think up something better than this?
agree with aguero. he will cost $$$ tho, however he is still young. mata would be a good winger too. cardoza is a waste of money.
