Reds will need to bid £10m for ‘new Theo Walcott’?

|

Southampton have slapped a £10million price tag on their teenage star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain according to the Daily Mail. The paper states that the Saints are preparing to lose the player in January with Liverpool, Arsenal and Fulham leading the way for the player’s signature. Some club staff have rated Oxlade-Chamberlain as having a higher potential than Theo Walcott had at the same age and the 17 year old attacking midfielder has already played in 15 league games for the Saints, scoring 4 goals. He became the second youngest player ever to play for the club at 16 years and 199 days, just behind Walcott.
