The Daily Mirror has linked both Tottenham’s out of favour winger David Bentley and Wolves’ Matt Jarvis with moves to Liverpool. While the paper says that Roy Hodgson is prepared to pay £6m for Bentley with Birmingham City also vying for the 26 year old’s signature, the Reds are also said to be interested in Jarvis who is believed to be attracting the attention of Merseyside rivals Everton too. Manager David Moyes wants Jarvis to replace Steven Pienaar if the South African leaves Goodison Park and is prepared to pay £4million for the 24 year old. The Liverpool Daily Post is reporting however that one player set to leave Anfield in January is Milan Jovanovic who is interesting clubs in Germany.

i hope this is all a joke but with roy, you just can’t rule it out, why not go for pinaar if he wants to leave the toffee’s he is a classy player.
David Bentley and Matt Jarvis…you must be joking. Bentley can’t even get a place on Spurs’ bench. Jarvis’ doing well at Wolves but he’s mediocre at best.
You forgot, as per ROY we are also a medicore team. The big thing is its not his team.
Hopefully Milan Jovanovic and Ryan Babel out and Keisuke Honda and Ashley Young in thats two wingers in and two wingers out then I would like to see us sign a top quality centre forward maybe Andy Carroll, I also think we need another good centre midfielder so sell Christian Poulsen and buy Lassana Diarra who is available at a knockdown £9m then maybe next summer we could look ata centre half and a left back

admittedly bentley would be very risky but if he could get back to his best we could be onto a winner, i would still avoid him though we cant take the chance
