Deschamps: I will not be leaving Marseille until 2014

|

Marseille manager Didier Deschamps has apparently ruled himself out of taking over at Liverpool by stating he hopes to stay at the French club until the club’s stadium is re-developed in 2014:

“When I talk about being the coach of Marseille in the new stadium, I mean it. It is an idea that pleases me. Now, 2014 is a very long way away in my profession. But I have said people should understand I am not a tramp. I proved it last year. I could have left.”

Deschamps won the French Ligue One title with Marseille last season and was interviewed for the Liverpool job last summer before the appointment of Roy Hodgson.

Bet on Liverpool to win 1-0 against Man Utd at 13/1!

This week it is former Liverpool WAG Gisela Molinero!

Not fussed – I want to finally see attacking football regularly on display at Anfield again. Rijkaard remains my first choice and is available RIGHT NOW!
