Liverpool are rivalling Real Madrid for the signature of Rennes and France international midfielder Yann M’Vila, according to France Football magazine. The reports states that Director of Football Strategy Damien Comolli has made active enquiries about the 20 year old and has also asked about his interest in moving to England at the end of the season. Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has pushed the Madrid board into making enquiries about M’Vila but Comolli’s good relationship with Rennes could seal the deal. They are said to be impressed with Comolli’s handling of the talks with Sylvain Marveaux, but the French club would still demand €15million for M’Vila.
