An unbelievable day, but is it the start of a brand new era?

As the dust attempts to settle on Transfer Deadline Day and Liverpool fans drag their mesmerised eyes away from a computer or television screen, Liverpool FC has undergone somewhat of an attacking makeover and, some could say, are entering a brand new era.

January 31st 2011 will go down in Liverpool history as the day which brought about a whole range of differing emotions; both good and bad. Reds fans will have started the day puzzled as to how the day would piece together. All of a sudden, Andy Carroll was on the horizon and the excitement levels reached fever pitch, however, a sudden dampener arrived in the form of Fernando Torres. When it was revealed the Spaniard was travelling down to Stamford Bridge, the reality kicked in that we had seen ‘El Nino’ in a red shirt for the last time.

    Yes new era.
New owners, new manager and a new strike force. Hope this ends in high note.
In past H&G show no ambition, Roy not the correct one and Torres is sulky throughout the season.
Now we have everyone in club who is having ambition and to win many more starting with Europa league.
Carrol and Suarez welcome once again
