When asked whether caretaker manager Kenny Dalglish should be given the job on a permanent basis, Liverpool striker Dirk Kuyt replied:
“I think if you only look at the results and mood of the players, I’d have to agree with that.”
Kuyt has also praised Dalglish’s advice in regards to playing as a striker:
“He is a legend not only for supporters but also for players. As a player, he has helped me as a striker a lot. He is very helpful for me.”
