Marseille have admitted that Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea target Taye Taiwo will be leaving the club on a Bosman free transfer in the summer. Marseille president Jean-Claude Dassier said:
“We regret his departure but apparently he wants to try out different emotions in another league. We are already working to replace him, we will have a meeting in the coming days.”
The Nigerian international left back is free to talk to potential suitors and can sign a pre-contract agreement with any club.
