Poulsen: “I hope this is a new start for me”

|

Liverpool midfielder Christian Poulsen hopes he can start his Liverpool career afresh in the coming months under Kenny Dalglish. Talking to Liverpoolfc.tv, he said:

“It has been nice for me to start for the first team again and I hope this is a new start for me at Liverpool. For everybody at the club this has been a difficult season when results at the start were not that good, but there has been a lot of changes and hopefully we can come back and get as high up in the table as possible. Personally I hope to show my best now and show what I can do for this club. I came here just after the World Cup and I didn’t have much rest after that, so I also had to adapt to the Barclays Premier League which is totally different to the Italian league. I needed some time to settle in but now I’m feeling good and I hope to continue playing well for this team in the coming months. I am enjoying life in Liverpool. There are some really nice people here, I like the city and my family are happy here.”

Poulsen is also delighted by the signings of Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll on deadline day:

“I was following all the drama on TV and it was an exciting day. I think we have two really good signings and I am pretty sure we will have a strong attack with those two. The atmosphere around the club is good so hopefully we can take that into the games and climb higher up the table.”

This week it is even more of Liverpool WAG Alex Curran!

“i’m not crap; i was just tired and haven’t adapted …yet”

It would have been better if he said “sorry for playing s***e”

I hope his salary is not too big,

    Adam in, Poulsen out
