Real Madrid midfielder Fernando Gago’s agent Zoran Vekic has told Calciomercato.it that there is interest in his client from other clubs. The Argentine has been linked with Liverpool in recent days:
“As for Gago, I can say that at the moment it is just speculation. I guess there is some interest. To be more precise, we must still wait for the next few weeks, when we will know his situation better.”
Gago has not been a regular starter under Jose Mourinho since his return from injury, and the holding midfielder may look elsewhere for first team football in the summer.
This week it is Liverpool midfielder Albert Aquilani’s former girlfriend Pamela Camassa!

Top player who like many has seen his career stagnated at Madrid. He was an instumental player along with Lass when Real won two La Liga’s under Capello. He will take some time to get back to his best but once he regains his confidence, he’ll be a handful for our opposition. Considering the fact that he has experience at the highest level and is still only 24, 8-10 million will be a very good deal. Remember, not too long ago Sneijder, Robben and Van Der Vaart were warming Madrid’s bench. Look at how they are performing now.
What has he done to be called a top player?
Just because he is at madrid doesnt mean to say he is a top young player that just has not had the chances! have to be more wise my old mate?
EVER Banega is better, younger, fitter and better with ball at his feet, gets around the pitch better and has been in the national team of late, so for me if its gago or banega, id never go anywhere near gago….

As I mentioned, he formed a successful central midfield partnership with Mahamadou(Not Lass my bad) Diarra that helped Madrid to 2 La Liga titles Against a Barca team that had the likes of Ronaldinho, Deco, Xavi, Iniesta, Eto’o. What has Banega achieved? He has just broken into the Argentina squad, so what? Like how Sneijder, Robben and Van Der Vaart and now Kaka started to stagnate at Madrid, Gago has also suffered a similar fate. You don’t become average overnight. He is still young and has time to improve his game. There was a time when he was tagged alongside Messi and Aguero to become one of the best players in the world. I suggest you get off the ‘Banega-Turan-Coentrao-Benzema’ band wagon and do a bit of research yourself.

Gago’s movement around the pitch is top class compared to anyone. In addition to that Gago has very good technique – the fact that he likes to pass the ball away instead of run withit doesn’t negate that fact. And if you ment passing with ‘better with ball’ – lol – You should actually watch the games Gago played last season. He did better job at distributing the ball than Xabi.
