Lawro: “I didn’t realise his movement was as good as it is.”

|

Former Liverpool defender Mark Lawrenson praised the performance of Luis Suarez against Manchester United on Sunday. Writing in his column for the Liverpool Daily Post, he said:

“Suarez’s display was enlightening as much as anything. He looks a player who has a little bit of everything. I didn’t realise his movement was as good as it is. In the World Cup, Diego Forlan caught the eye more than Suarez the majority of times, but against United the Liverpool man’s movement was excellent, and his understanding of how to play between the lines is a Godsend in today’s game. He also looked like he has a change of pace, which is an even greater asset. He had fine awareness of everyone around him and looked every inch a £23million footballer. I expect him to become even better, and it’s clear the fans have taken to him because of the way he puts himself around. Suarez isn’t shy of getting stuck in, and was happy to drop back and help out in midfield whenever possible.”

Lawrenson also talked about Jamie Carragher’s tackle on Nani:

“Summarising for Match Of The Day 2 on Sunday night, I was tempted to do a piece just laughing at Nani until I saw the extent of his gash, which is probably what the winger did when he collapsed in comedy fashion. I remember one game against Tottenham at Anfield when I got a knock near the ankle. I didn’t think much of it as first, until a few moments later I rolled my sock down and I could see my bone, and said ‘lads, I might need to go off and get this seen to’. The same happened to Nani, although I dare say he was a bit more dramatic!”

This week it is Liverpool midfielder Albert Aquilani’s former girlfriend Pamela Camassa!

How on earth do you hold down the job as a chief anaylst on the most popular footie program in a footie mad country. I mean it doesn’t take that much research, youtube perhaps, but in his case he was in South Africa last summer to watch him play. Beggars belief sometime, but does illustrate that to be a successful manager you have to be a little smarter than Lawro, does that actually exclude anyone? OMG, just did a simple bit of research as I was writing this, Lawro was actually a manager once at Preston, short stint not successful, gave it up…HAHAHAHAHA

Get Mascherano back to Anfield.Forgive the players stupid attitude when he left us in the summer.I am 100% sure if we give him a lifeline for the second time in his career, he will jump after it.

Almost a hole season as bench warmer at Nou Camp will raise the odds for it to happen.

    Thats humor 🙂
Not even Ronaldina could act like he got his legs blown off! But rather focus on Naniboy than Scum who really got some asskicking! Wake up, its only a gasp, my oh my, if people roll over everywhere like Nani, what a bizarre show that would be in the real world and bet Carra would do the same, ehhhhh NOT! Nice with some perspective, Lawro 🙂

“FA consider to give united a 9 points penalty because of economic misconduct at the end of the season”(Reuter)

Liverpool Football Club was saved by the bell in the 12th hour but Manchester United will have to fight further on to save the club from the brink.
A very unhealthy economy over the last three years are told to be the reason why the FA consider to act against the club

More to follow in the next weeks
