Beardsley praises the standard of Liverpool’s U18s and U16s

|

Liverpool Academy Director Frank McParland has stated that former Red Peter Beardsley has praised the standard of Liverpool’s youth players. McParland told Liverpoolfc.tv:

“We were really pleased because they were on a long unbeaten run themselves and after the match Peter Beardsley came over to me and said that both our U18s and U16s – who won their game 5-1 – had some fantastic players. That was really nice to hear, particularly from a man who reached the top of his profession with Liverpool and England.”

McParland also thinks the future is bright for his young Reds:

“I think the fact we have some bright prospects was further illustrated when I found out a people carrier was waiting to take four of our players away with England’s U17 squad. That’s another great achievement and we also had another three on standby.”

it’s a pity the powers that be cant play the very talented toni silva for a full 90 minutes ??? or play suso in his rightful position. ???.
raheem stirling is ready right now because he has unique skills that no one can counter age will not matter. flannagan, coady, smith and robinson are all fine prospects there are others too.

In order for Dalglish to have no excuses about promoting youth players over the next few seasons to firstteam playing time, all these superbly talented players need to bulk up in order to cope with the physicality of the Premier League.
