Sky Italia: Juve to send Aquilani back?

|

Sky Italia is reporting that Juventus will not take up their option to buy Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani. With the Old Lady struggling financially after looking destined to miss out on Champions League football for the second season in a row, they are unwilling to pay the £13.5million buyout clause which was inserted into the loan agreement last summer. Juventus directors will only move for Aquilani if they get a substantial discount which is unlikely and it looks certain that Aquilani will return to Merseyside. It might not be for very long though, according to the Italian media, as AC Milan are waiting in the wings to purchase the 26 year old as a replacement for Andrea Pirlo.

  • Brilliant, that means he will either return to Liverpool or AC Milan will have to pay more than Juve as they don’t have any clauses. Either way its a better result for Liverpool.

  • stanley says:

  • percy says:

i think we could very much do with a player of his qualities in our team,i realy do!! and our 20mil will not just have been waisted!! Ow.. i dn’t think the marseille left back is any good after i saw him play against man u. He can’t fix that left back problem we have, jus not good enough.

It would be a disaster for Liverpool if they were unable to sell Aquilani. He is an extremely average player and his signing was a huge screwup by Benitez.

Spot on. I have watched him in seria and sadly he is not that quality to live up in EPL.

it amazed me when he signed him looking at his game ratio per season !injury prone is the least of his worries as i don t feel he has the talent for the premiership!am i wrong?
