Video Loan Watch – Goals for Amoo, Eccelston and Pacheco

|

Dani Pacheco – It has not all been plain sailing for Dani since he arrived at Carrow Road. A blistering debut against Scunthorpe United in a 6-0 win, where he caused an untold number of problems for the opposition defence, and a standing ovation for his first match, have been followed with a few less impressive displays. He couldn’t get into the game in his second match against Swansea in a 3-0 defeat, and was subbed after 64 minutes, and he was then subbed again in his third match versus Watford before the hour mark. Since then he has been used as a sub, and it has been unfortunate that Simeon Jackson has found his form at the right time, scoring a hat-trick in two matches since Dani’s loan spell, one against Scunthorpe and one against Derby yesterday.

With captain Grant Holt taking the other available striking positon, Dani has to be content with a place on the bench. Still manager Paul Lambert is said to be impressed with the player, and may want to get him on loan for next season. The Spaniard has also scored a goal after coming on as a sub in the East Anglian Derby against Ipswich, scoring in the 5-1 rout (Video Below). Norwich now lie 2nd in the table on 80 points with every possibility of automatic promotion to the Premier League.

Emiliano Insua – The Argentinean full back is finally getting some game time under new manager Under Bulent. He started the 3-2 victory over Manisaspor and he also played the majority of the 1-1 draw against Kayserispor on Saturday. Insua had this to say on his facebook page last week:

“I am happy for the performance of the team. We are showing a reaction and I hope to keep like this the last 5 games.”

Galatasaray lie 12th in the Turkish league, 33 points behind leaders Fenerbahce.

I don’t know how we end up sending so many players on loan to clubs that don’t even play them – is there no communication at all before the kids are sent out??

I’m a strong advocate of getting the kids out on loan instead of holding them in the reserves, but it’s a pointless exercise if our youngsters are just going to sit on the bench elsewhere – they can easily do that at LFC, while under our own supervision and (potentially) training with their long term teammates in their long term environment!
