“German Messi” aware of interest from Liverpool

Werder Bremen winger Marko Marin has stated he is aware of interest from Liverpool. The 22 year old, dubbed the “German Messi,” told BILD:

“Yes, I am aware of it (the interest from Liverpool FC). However I am just keeping my focus on Werder Bremen. We had a very difficult time this season and it was a struggle, of course, I still like being at Werder Bremen. I suppose we are out to play a better campaign next term.”

Bremen have been struggling in the Bundesliga this season, and lie 12th on 41 points with one game remaining.
