Liverpool and Everton are said to be leading the chase for Motherwell winger Chris Humphrey, according to the Daily Star. The former Shrewsbury player has caught the attention of a number of clubs after his performances in the Scottish Cup, and Kenny Dalglish is considering a move for the player. The Reds will run the rule over the player in the Scottish Cup final against Celtic next weekend but they will have competition for the player’s signature from Everton, Bolton, Birmingham, Newcastle, Swansea and Rangers. Humphrey is rated at £1million by his club.
