The Biggest Consequence so far of Dalglish’s New Deal?

It hasn’t taken long for Kenny Dalglish’s new contract to make an instant impact on Liverpool’s future plans. Goalkeeper Pepe Reina put to bed any speculation today that he wants a move away from Anfield. Speaking to Liverpoolfc.tv, he said:

“I am looking forward to next season. We have had excellent news on Kenny’s contract, Steve Clarke’s and all of the technical staff. We are heading in the right direction and we are optimistic. I have always said (I am looking forward to next season). Of course there was a bit of doubt back in December and January because we were not even close to where we are now. agree. i like the comments made by tom werner today saying comolli has a big job of recruiting in the summer. i think we have to act fast in the market and believe targets have already been identified. cant wait for sunday to beat spurs and claim 5th would be a massive achievement considering the state we were in on jan 1st.
