“It is likely that he’ll end up in England”

Utrecht chief Frank Booy has admitted that he expects striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel to end up playing in England. He told Calciomercato.com:

“Ricky is happy here and we’re happy with him. But we know he wants more from his career. He deserves it, is a very strong striker. We are open to every solution, his agent has reported interest from teams in the Premier League. And I think in the end it is likely that he’ll end up in England.”

Van Wolfswinkel has been linked with the likes of Liverpool and Newcastle in recent months.
