According to La Nazione, Fiorentina are ready to sell winger/wing back Juan Manuel Vargas. The 27 year old has been linked to moves to Liverpool and Real Madrid in the Italian press since the end of the season and the Italian club are apparently willing to do business at €15million. The Peruvian international, joined the Viola from Catania in 2008, and can play in a variety of positions including left wing, left back and central midfield.

Other than that I doubt there is any real link. I am sure most of us could write another 100 similar articles for every unwanted winger in the world. Waste of time reading this imho
I cant really remember but i read from a reliable source that we wanted to buy him. this was around 1 month ago. besides, regardless of his age, I’ll take him above Downing (who is just ‘run n cross’) without skill or conviction in attack. also,
Mata who’s small n light(and may not make it in the EPL).
Vargas is an engine room (fast n strong) who can play anywhere on the left (versatile), shoots well (kinda like Riise), and is a dead ball specialist.
I know the reports are still unfounded but make no mistake; d guy is one of the best, underrated left wingers in Europe site now.
