Liverpool are interested in Ajax’s young defensive midfielder Vurnon Anita, according to his agent. He told Goal.com:
“The way I understand things, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are the two interested teams, They have not approached me, though, and I have not been in touch with Ajax either, to ask whether there has been contact with other clubs.”
Anita has a €15million release clause inserted into his contract.

Interesting one. He would provide cover for Lucas and can also play at right-back. He’s young and a full Dutch International. He could be a great signing for the squad. Better than Cattermole, thats for sure.
