Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson was delighted to finally make his first appearance for the Reds, he told Liverpoolfc.tv:
“I feel part of it now. It was a little bit frustrating watching them on the telly but it was good to have a rest. It wasn’t a good result but that’s what pre-season is about and we’ll learn from our mistakes. I think I’ve settled in well so far and hopefully I can keep doing so.”
The Reds lost 3-0 to Hull at the KC Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

I thought Henderson played pretty well against Hull. A few nice touches.
He played well but I still think Aquilani should stay
a quality player in serie A where he gets all the time and space he requires, time and space he will NOT get in the premier league! sorry but he needs to go!
He doesn’t need time and space. His touches are great and not having too much time to think might actually benefit his game even more. I think you underestimate him greatly
maybe i do underestimate him but he strikes me as a player who needs games and i just can’t see him getting the run in the side that it would take for him to shine, so i reckon we should cash in
We should finally show some faith in him and give him a chance. Especially because no one is willing to pay close to what we paid to bring him to Anfield. So it’s better to give him another chance then to sell him for less than he is worth. We need a lot of players anyway becuase you are gonna get suspensions and injuries and I’d rather have quality on the bench so we don’t have to worry when we lose a player or two during the season.

We have four attacking midfielders now aqua, merelies, stevie and henderson with only last two being able to switch to the right side and play well, now we can’t keep them all so aqua or merelies or both have to go, at a choice sell aqua, good player but gets pushed off the ball easily Android needs to much time on ball
we lfc supporters can be hypocrites… we want players to go and stay when they do better…. i believe aqua man shud stay…. we gave lucas his chance and look @ him now…. he is midfeild splitter… a tough tackler….We need to believe in our players. if we play a 4231 formation aqua should play one of the 3 positions left midfied i suggest…. that boy has nice touches …..he needs A chance…..i wud chase poulsen ngog n milan before i sell the aqua man… did u guys watch his serie a highlights?
