Newcastle manager Alan Pardew has stated that there have been no bids for want-away full back Jose Enrique:
“We’ve had no bids for Jose and offered him the best contract that’s been offered here in a while.”
Enrique attacked the Newcastle owners for their lack of ambition on his twitter account over the weekend, and has been linked with a move to Liverpool.
