Liverpool full back Emiliano Insua’s agent Rodrigo Vilarino has admitted speaking to Roma over the Argentine’s future:
“I spoke to [Walter] Sabatini (Roma’s Sporting Director) about him, but at the moment there are no particular developments.”
Vilarino states that any discussions about a move are predicated on whether Liverpool are keen to keep Insua or not:
“Emiliano has returned to Liverpool after the loan spell at Galatasaray. Now we have to see if he is in the English club’s plans.”

Insua does not want to play for Liverpool. Players who have made such comments dont deserve to wear the shirt. The sooner he leaves, the better

He made those comments last year when he was desperate to be sold. No other club actually wanted to buy him though so he went on loan. He wanted to join Fiorentina but ended up at Galatasaray, where he failed to become a regular in the starting 11. I’m sorry but if you can’t do it there, you don’t belong at LFC

Insua did NOT want to leave, stop making things up. You have no idea why he didn’t make it, nor I bet have you ever watched a Turkish league football game. In my opinion he’d be an excellent backup, and could only improve at 21 yrs old.
