Valencia midfielder Juan Mata feels the interest being shown in him is a compliment to his ability’s as a player. He told Lasprovincias:
“It is true that teams have been linked with me but this is a good sign that I am playing well. Despite all the rumours, I have to stay calm and step away from all the speculation. I am well aware of the rumours but this is not the first summer I have had to deal with this so they do not worry me. My aim now is to make sure I am ready for the start of the new season and keep improving as a player. I want to win more trophies.”
Mata has been linked with moves to Arsenal and Liverpool this summer.

Sad to see LFC not sign him, but im still happy with what we have signed so far. Hopefully he will stay in Spain then maybe in the future we can get him, i don’t think we will sign Jeffren Suarez either as it looks like Joe Cole will stay.
Why are we dithering over these players? Why aren’t we going all out to sign Mata and Jeffren. Too many average signings so far!
We have not been able to sign Mata but instead we have a string of very good midfielders capable of doing a very good job. What we need now is an excellent centre back and a good left back. Hope we will snatch these two players. I have in mind Baines and Cahill.
them 2 will cost around £30 mill i dnt see it happening although would love m both, but both are over priced.
Bains and Cahill would be great but we need to bolster our attacking options.We can also drem and hope we can somehow land Aguero fron Athletico.
You’re in wonderland if you think we can land aguero.. Upwards from 30mil plus an astronomical wage package. He’s a great player, but for where we are now and who we already have we don’t need him. Suarez does what aguero does, and he’s more than good enough at it.
What do you think about the Higuin rumour? i would love it if it was true but even if he did leave Madrid which i doubt because its hard to leave them and most players want to fight for their place, it will still cost us alot 20-25 mill maybe.
