Responding to tweets on his twitter account last night, Liverpool owner John W Henry joked they should march on Valencia for Juan Mata:
“Maybe you can march on Valencia. A TweetUp! How many of you are there? We could attack on four sides.”
On another issue, Henry responded to questions over developments on the new stadium:
“Anfield would certainly be our first choice. But realities may dictate otherwise. So many obstacles…”
Henry also replied to a tweet asking whether the Reds would ever have a pre-season match at Fenway Park saying:
“Yes. Should be terrific”

I agree with u. All these ppl who just keep shouting Mata… forget that this is d EPL we’re talkin about n we’ve seen many top players unable to live up to their billing after makin the move. Am NOT taking anything away from d player. he’s definately class, but I would not be unhappy if we dont sign him eventually. This is our most important transfer window in a long time and we cant afford to take too many risks. am not sayin He wouldn’t/cannot make an INSTANT impact, but to be honest, its a 50-50 chance he’ll hit the ground running.
Am particularly concerned about his build. he has a small n light physique (kinda like Insua or Bojan), though his PACE n creativity is something we need.

Put kenny in charge cleared our dept’s brought new players in instantly , this window again more player , set up a proper structure to success wants to install home values and make the fans feel like the club belongs to them once again. Can anyone suggest what we can get back selling our potentially highend young , energetic non creative , playing it safe by passing behind Jordan (jimmi Traore) Henderson ? We can use the money to top up fund for Mata. We r getting rid of Aquilani, understandable, but we buy Henderson ? Not getting it.
So Sorry Mr Henry, Getting Henderson was a huge mistake. We know it was a huge amount of money for a huge Henderson mistake. But getting Mata will make up for the loss. We will try to offload Henderson which is the best solution but an almost impossible mission to get half the money back. To miss out on Mata is an unforgivable SIN. And having a 20m pound passenger (Henderson)is even a bigger sin if we don’t try to neutralise the situation by getting JUAN MATA. Then finish it off with N’zogbia not Downing(cheaper yet better) and Aly Cissokho !!! The money from the sales of the shortlisted exits you can take them ok ? Pleeeease ….
