Il Tempo is reporting that Roma have offered striker Marco Borriello to Liverpool. The Italian club are said to be desperate to offload the player and the striker has already rejected a move to Fulham. When Liverpool were offered the 29 year old, they did not immediately rule out a move for the Italian and have told Roma to wait until the outcome of the Reds move for Manchester City striker Craig Bellamy. Borriello scored 17 goals in 36 appearances for the Rome club last season.

crap player, wouldnt wash my arse with him….

  • Seems like a good goal return. Never seen him play. Glad we are looking for another forward. Really missing why we are not buying Cahill during the Ngog talks? Ok Coates, but we needed a CB before Soto went and Coates is untried in this league. I am assuming the Uruguayan league isn’t as good as the EPL ?? I mean great signing etc but still need Cahill.

17 goals in 36 games – thats a goal nearly every other game, would be a decent player to have in reserve should Suarez get injured.

  • fernando fernandez says:
