Celtic manager Neil Lennon has denied that winger Paddy McCourt has asked for a transfer:
“Paddy hasn’t asked for a transfer so I don’t know where that has come from. It’s unsettling for him and its people making trouble for him. Paddy has asked me about trying to get a regular game. He’d like to play more and I can understand that. He just has to be patient.”
It has been speculated in recent weeks that Liverpool have been looking at the Northern Irish international.
