Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish will prevent striker David Ngog being sold to Bolton, until a replacement can be found, according to the Daily Mirror. The paper believes Bolton offered £4million for the Frenchman, but the Reds will only accept the offer when they have another striker lined up. Trotters boss Owen Coyle is hopeful that a deal can be finalised before the end of the window, but Reds boss Dalglish does not want to be left short up front if Ngog is sold.
