When asked by talkSPORT whether he can see himself staying permanently in France with Lille, Joe Cole, replied:
“I know I made the right choice and I’m happy and excited about the challenge. I’m up for anything. The thing I’ve learnt over the last two seasons is you can’t really plan anything in this game. I’m not going to plan anything at the moment. I’m just itching to get going.”
Cole is on a season long loan with the French champions.
