Liverpool legend Jan Molby believes the match against Stoke tomorrow will be a “tough examination” for the Reds. He wrote in his column for the Liverpool Echo:

“Tomorrow sees Liverpool FC travel to the Britannia Stadium, a ground they have traditionally struggled on in recent years. It will be a tough examination, and one which may tell us a lot about this Liverpool team, but I believe this side is much better equipped to deal with the threat of Stoke. We all know what kind of threat that is. Stoke will use the throws of Rory Delap, the physicality of Kenwyne Jones and the height of Peter Crouch. They will get the ball wide and look to put Liverpool under pressure.”

Molby believes the Reds should go to the Britannia and attack the Potters:

“Kenny will be relieved to have options in his defence with Martin Skrtel and Sebastian Coates competing for places with Jamie Carragher and Daniel Agger. It may even be that he uses a 3-5-2 formation – as he did at Chelsea last year – to help squeeze a bit more strength and height into his defence. The key thing for Liverpool, and something they perhaps haven’t done in the last few seasons, is to be brave enough to play football. A lot of teams go to Stoke and look simply to stop them from playing. That suits them. What doesn’t suit them is for teams to attack them, to use pace and movement and to put them on the back foot.”

This week it is former LFC WAG Gisela Molinero!!
