Steven Gerrard – Solid from Steven Gerrard, if nothing else. Looked more exposed than when allowed two supporting players but West Brom weren’t able to take advantage. Whether his fault or not, his role is still a big weak area in the team. Rating – 6
Philippe Coutinho – A far better show from Coutinho but while the running and willing were on display, the quality was again much lacking. If the side continues to pick up 3 points regularly after the international fortnight though, that should come with the increased confidence. Rating – 6
Lallana was amazing and the team is begining to take shape. But am feeling a bit suspect about this international break. It seem to pop whenever we are finding our feet.
There’s no such word as irregardless.
As Rodgers said, Sturridge is not fit to play for England, so is Lallana. He should remain at anfield and train well.
