LFCTV joins Virgin Media’s sports lineup?

1Liverpool FC today announced that its official Club TV channel, LFCTV, has joined Virgin Media’s TV service.

LFCTV has relaunched as a bigger and better channel, broadcasting directly from an all-new interactive studio in the heart of Liverpool as well as providing news directly from the Club’s training ground, Melwood.

With new programmes and unrivalled behind-the-scenes access, news, features and lots more from inside LFC, fans with Virgin Media are now able to access LFC 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

Commenting on the Virgin Media launch, Matthew Baxter, Chief Media Officer at Liverpool FC, said: “Virgin Media is one of the UK’s most established and well-known TV service providers, so it’s great that LFCTV is available to Virgin Media’s subscribers. Even more fans will be first to access all of the best behind the scenes access, preseason matches, LFC news and features 24 hours a day.”

As part of the updated service, fans can watch full replays of every single first-team game and Anfield legends are on-hand to provide pre-game build-up and post-match analysis.

Preseason games will also be shown on LFCTV every summer and fans can keep track of all of the Reds’ youth teams and the title-winning Liverpool Ladies, with live coverage or highlights of all matches.

Virgin Media customers in the UK can subscribe to LFCTV from today for £7 a month. Virgin Media TiVo® users can add LFCTV by following the instructions at channel 544 or selecting the TV Channel Upgrades app in the Apps & Games section. All other Virgin TV customers can select TV Channel Upgrades from within the Help menu or online via www.virginmedia.com/myvirginmedia
