Preferred Liverpool Starting Line-up vs Bournemouth

Lucas must return to the side tonight

Midfield

Lucas Leiva – Why on earth Rodgers opted to leave Lucas out against Man Utd is a mystery. The technical over the solid is clearly his preference but until Liverpool show that they can still outscore opponents, I’m afraid solid is the best we can hope for and Lucas is key to that. He will be particularly important against a vibrant attacking Bournemouth side tonight.

Emre Can – The young midfielder has been one of the few summer signings to have impressed so far but doesn’t seem to warrant a place when energy and drive are required. His physical and technical attributes will be important tonight, should he start.

Jordan Henderson – We should see Henderson captaining the side more and more as the season goes on, and rightly so, and we need to see a big performance from him tonight to lead the Reds to the Capital One Cup semi-finals.

I hate it when one has to click a million times to get the full lineup. Why not show all of it on the first page already?

Why don’t he rest Raheem for Sundays game. That’s a much bigger game, than tonights. Brendan Rodgers might be under pressure, he still have my support, till the end, but Stirling is still young, still learning & still developing, we need him more relaxed & focus for Sunday
