Simon Mignolet – Again at fault for an opposition goal and was again flapping all game. Made a great ‘tackle/save’ late on and set the team on a quick counter which raises the question of why he can’t be more like that more often. Rating – 5

Not a performance to be proud of but I guess we are getting used to that now. So the player we are letting go and is over the hill once again has to show the team how to put the ball in the net. Pathetic Brendan says win it for gerrrard , yes fantastic motivation skills. How about win it for the fans who have to listen your lame excuses every week ???
Terrible performance yet again and rescued by Gerrard our top scorer, If played in the right role he clearly has plenty to offer unlike some of Brenda’s other flops.
