Ten January Transfer Targets for Liverpool – Part One

Doumbia has impressed hugely during his spell in Moscow

Seydou Doumbia (CSKA Moscow)

Also linked with Chelsea as well as Tottenham, Seydou Doumbia is another who possesses a proven goalscoring record with Young Boys in Switzerland and now CSKA Moscow in Russia. The fee has been quoted from £8m to £25m but £15m would possibly be enough for Liverpool to acquire his services.

With speed and accuracy, Doumbia would fit in easily at Liverpool and carries Champions League experience, including two goals in winning at Manchester City earlier this season. The only question mark would be whether he could make the step up from Russia to the Premier League.

at Liverpool, we only need a striker, a defensive mid and a goalkeeper. the rest of the positions are well covered for.
any striker who attacks defenders like Suarez and with a good finish is alright by me. we can’t rely on sturridge because of his injuries.
we don’t need a new center back. we need BR to accept to get in a defensive coach and our defensive problems will be sorted
