Ten January Transfer Targets for Liverpool – Part One

If Liverpool want Bony they’ll have to move fast

Wilfried Bony (Swansea City)

As mentioned in my previous article, Wilfried Bony is my personal favourite to solve our striking problems. Whilst he may not be the cheapest addition on this list at probably £20m or higher, Bony has been on the lookout for a move to a bigger club after impressing hugely at Swansea. The Premier League’s top scorer in 2014, the Ivorian is entering the prime of his career having just turned 26, with 53 goals in two and a half seasons at Vitesse and 33 since joining Swansea.

The January rumour mill now has Manchester City and Chelsea added to the long list of admirers as they seek a fit striker and a long-term challenger to Diego Costa respectively, but regular football at a big club may tempt Bony to Anfield. His pace, strength and finishing would all be welcome in January.

at Liverpool, we only need a striker, a defensive mid and a goalkeeper. the rest of the positions are well covered for.
any striker who attacks defenders like Suarez and with a good finish is alright by me. we can’t rely on sturridge because of his injuries.
we don’t need a new center back. we need BR to accept to get in a defensive coach and our defensive problems will be sorted
