Five who’s LFC careers Klopp could ‘revive’

Lovren is struggling at Anfield at the moment but could see a revival under a new manager

Dejan Lovren

Whereas Lallana hasn’t had many chances to prove himself, most would argue that Lovren has had too many.

With a new manager though comes second (or 12th) chances and, in Lovren’s case, it’s an opportunity he has to grab with both hands.

Of course, having tested the waters since arriving Klopp may well have an idea who he’ll start as his primary centre backs and if he’s watched Liverpool in the past 18 months he may be wary.

But new manager’s usually give most players a fresh start and we saw enough of Lovren for Southampton, not to mention some top international performances, to know he has it in him.

And with as much criticism having been aimed at defensive tactics and a (seeming) lack of defensive training under the previous manager as at the players, a new approach may yet bring the best out of the big centre back.

I do not agree with the assessment of Allen. Many forget he was an instrumental component during our long and successful run in the spring of 2013. I would also say the same qualities shone through during our mini-revival last January-March.

How about IBE, is he going to be playing or does he suits klopp’s formations?
