Joe Allen – A really tenacious and scrappy display from Allen, who looks determined to win himself a new contract and have a future under one of the best managers in Europe. Ran Daniel Sturridge very close for the man of the match award. Rating – 8
Kevin Stewart – The young midfielder was once again very impressive, as he worked hard to ensure Bournemouth didn’t get much luck in front of goal. Seemed to tire late on but has a bright future. Rating – 7
