Liverpool are looking at to meet the release clause of Braga midfielder Rafa Silva, according to Portuguese website ZeroZero. The prolific midfielder is believed to have a clause in his contract which allows him to leave for €20million or £15million.

Silva’s goal scoring record in Portugal is pretty impressive and it’s something that Jurgen Klopp will be looking to improve in the summer with Philippe Coutinho the only member of of the Reds midfield having scored more than 5 goals in the league this campaign.

During his first season in professional football, he scored 11 goals for Feirense in Portugal’s second division before moving on to current Braga in 2013. In his three seasons at the Portuguese club he has scored 9 goals, 5 goals and 12 goals respectively, in all competitions.

Silva generally plays from a wide left position and will feature in the Portuguese Cup final against Porto this weekend. The 23 year old is also rumoured to be interesting Manchester United among others.
