Liverpool and Serie A side Fiorentina are targeting Barcelona winger Cristian Tello, according to Marca. The Spanish newspaper believe the 24 year old is attracting interest from the Reds but they could miss out on the player if the Viola make a move.
The Spanish international spent the second half of last season on loan at the Italian club and Marca believes they are keen to make the move a permanent one.
Liverpool have been linked with Tello for a number of years but the player has struggled to fill his potential after failing to breakthrough at Barcelona. He was sent out on loan to Porto for two seasons and although he played regularly during his first season at the club, making 37 appearances, his loan was cut short, and after 20 appearances in the first half of last season for the Portuguese side, he moved to Fiorentina in January on a six month loan deal.
He made 15 appearances in Serie A for Florentina, scoring 2 goals and providing 4 assists.
