Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United have all sent scouts to watch Charlton defender Ezri Konsa, according to the Mirror.

The newspaper reports that Celtic have also joined the hunt for the 19 year old, with Brendan Rodgers hoping to persuade the youngster to join him at the Scottish Champions, and make an impact similar to former Fulham forward Moussa Dembele.

Konsa is ostensibly a centre back, but he has started twice at right back in his 12 matches for Charlton so far. Although the youngster started six of the first seven league games this campaign, he has only appeared twice in the last two months with recently sacked manager Russell Slade leaving him on the bench.

Konsa’s contract expires at the end of the season but due to his age, any team that wishes to sign him will have to agree compensation with Charlton before any move can go ahead.
