This was not the finest hour for our young German stopper. He’s shown signs of nerves but it appeared that he was beginning to get on top of them with two recent clean sheets. At the crucial moment though, with Bournemouth in the ascendancy, he buckled under the pressure and spilled for Nathan Ake to hammer home the winner. How he bounces back could define his season and perhaps more worrying, the team’s as a whole.
