It seems like a pretty daily thing at the moment so you won’t be surprised to read that some outlet, somewhere in Europe, has managed to link us with another new defender.

On tonight’s menu it seems that Mundo Deportivo of Spain reckon that we’re going to go in for Marc Navarro of Espanyol as we look to shore up things at the back.

For sure, the Reds could do with options at the back – we all know that – and so it could be possible that the Barcelona based man makes the move to Anfield.

The young right-back has an impressive goal-scoring record, weirdly enough, with two goals in his four La Liga appearances this season and so he could be one to watch in the remainder of this campaign.

Nathaniel Clyne could do with extra competition, too, though we’d wonder what this move would do to Trent Alexander-Arnold’s first team chances.

Thoughts, Reds? Let us know below!
