He’s the long-term plan
We simply cannot see how Simon Mignolet will be at the club past this season, now, and so it’s surely time to try and integrate Karius properly into our first team plans.
He was obviously signed as Jurgen Klopp’s number 1 for the Reds and so we feel it’s time that the German begins to mould his ‘keeper into the team ahead of next season. We can still finish in the top four and it only makes sense to have Karius as part of that run instead of Mignolet.
