It’s been a good start to the weekend if you’re a Reds fan – amazing what a win can do at the weekend, isn’t it?
Indeed, we’d be forgiven for forgetting just what that feeling was like after a poor start to proceedings in 2017 but after brushing aside Tottenham 2-0 we feel that the top four is well and truly on.
The win and the line-up that got it saw Georginio Wijnaldum come back into the side ahead of Emre Can in a move by Jurgen Klopp that we were very pleased to see.
Can has been very poor in recent weeks and one of the most criticised of our players for his performances with us wanting him replaced a fair time ago in our midfield.
At last, Klopp made the call and it paid dividends as Gini set up the opener on the weekend so now we want him to stay in the side in the coming weeks – here are three reasons why that’s the case too…
